"This is a good basic face wash. I used this before then tried other brands but decided to try this again. It is a little too harsh for my sensitive skin but the other less harsh cleanser does not make my face feel clean at all. I like the idea that there is no perfume added. The smell is clean and fresh."
"I have very dry, mature skin. Twice a day I wash my face with a drug store very hydrating cleanser. Once a week, after I wash my face, I then use the Rice Powder to exfoliate my face, and after that I slather on a moisturizer because the rice powder is effective but very drying. I just purchased the Rice Wash - and it is zero hydrating compared to my normal drug store creamy face wash (and it does not remove any makeup like my drug store product). I will stick to my hydrating drug store face wash and weekly Tatcha Rice Powder - and give the Rice Wash to someone who does not have dry skin. "I’ve purchased this at least 15 times! I make sure I’m always stocked. Black Friday is never ready for this girl! lol. I have sensitive skin, prone to breakouts, and have a bit of rosacea. So when I tell you, when I find something that works for me, it’s over. Never buying another cleanser. It’s gentle with light exfoliation. I don’t break out or get any kind of reaction on my skin. It leaves my face soft, smooth, fresh, and glowy after every wash. Not drying at all. And I only need a pea sized amount for my whole face. So it lasts me a while—probably around 4-5 months. I always have one in my shower, one on my sink, and in my travel bag. I bought one of those tube squeezers to make sure I get every last bit! lol. Yes, it’s pricey, but it pales in comparison to the amount of money I spent on cleansing products to find one that actually doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin. So to me, it’s worth it.
