"I’ve always suffered from severe chapped lips and they crack, bleed, scab, bruise, and it’s so embarrassing. I have tried so many lip care products that were all a waste of money & I even tried medicated ones that mountain climbers use lol! Decided to try this one because of the gold flakes but I didn’t have any expectations so I was blown away with how it actually worked! My lips actually absorbed the balm and felt incredibly soft and moisturized. I love the way it smells and how a little goes a long way so it lasts quite a while. It’s been 6 years since I decided to try this and I’ll never go back! The only thing that would make this better is if it came in a tube (Vicky if you’re reading this, please make that happen!) honestly there’s no product I’d recommend more!"

best lip treatment for severe Eczema
"I never write reviews but i HAVE to review this product. I have been using this product for about 10 YEARS!! I was born with severe eczema and the driest part on my body is unfortunately the periorbital area (lips and skin around the mouth). Throughout my childhood i used vaseline, carmax, blistex, burts bees, and more. Some were okay but NOTHING comes close to this Tatcha gold spun lip balm. I even tried Laneige to soothe a flare up of severely dry chapped lips that wouldn't go away for weeks, and the famous Laneige balm did absolutely nothing for me (I had run out of my Tatcha balm at the time and hadn't re-bought it bc it was no longer available at Sephora). So when I got bought my Tatcha balm again, the flare up went away in four days. This Tatcha balm always takes care of my eczema flare ups and I've even used it for other skin irritations on my face or anywhere else. This product doesn't get enough love, and I know it's because not enough people have tried it or used it. TATCHA PLEASE NEVER DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I am a consumer for life! I'm open to sharing with anybody that has questions about this lip product."

- Thank you for your interest. Yes this is better than petroleum jelly. It would depend on how much and how often you apply it as to how long it would last. Probably 1-3 months on average.
- Do you use this with the lip mask? If so, then which one goes on first?
- Thank you for asking! You would not need to use both at the same time, however, we love to slather the Lip Mask on before bed and then use the Gold Spun lip balm to maintain hydrated, soft lips throughout the day.
